Ping System

Description

This addon integrates a Ping System, allowing players to mark enemies, items, or strategic locations for their teammates instantly, similar to Apex Legends or Warzone.

Key Features:

• Context-Sensitive: The system automatically detects the target. Pinging an enemy shows a “Danger” icon, while pinging a location shows a movement marker.

• Radial Menu: Players can hold the ping button to open a selector wheel for specific callouts (e.g., “Defend here,” “Weapon here”).

• Team Sync: Markers appear instantly in 3D space and on the UI for all teammates.

• Easy Setup: Full integration takes just 2 clicks.

  Fully customizable:

  • Complete control to add, replace, or remove any of the default ping options and their associated voice lines.

  • Set performance limits by configuring the maximum number of active pings allowed per player and the total visible on screen.

  • Manage UI visibility by configuring pings to be clamped to the screen edges when off-screen.

  • Define ‘special’ items to automatically display a custom, following icon when they are pinged for enhanced contextual tagging.
