The Steam Authentication addon connects the Steam SDK with ULogin, allowing players to automatically log in using their active Steam account instead of manually entering a username and password. Built with the Facepunch.Steamworks C#<\/a> wrapper, it also handles the core Steam SDK initialization required to get your game Steam-ready<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Releasing a game on Steam requires SDK integration. This package handles that requirement by including the required Steam binaries and necessary initialization code. Its primary focus, however, is creating a frictionless login experience for your players.<\/p>\n

How it Works:<\/b><\/p>\n

    The login screen loads.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    The addon detects the active Steam session and fetches the player’s information.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  3. \n

    It checks the game server to see if an account linked to that Steam ID exists.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  4. \n

    If it’s a new player, it automatically creates a linked ULogin account. If they are a returning player, it simply logs them in and retrieves their data.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Integration:<\/b> Setup is straightforward and takes just a few clicks. The integration is mostly automated; all you need to do is paste your Steam App ID.<\/p>\n
